Am I doing it right ?

THE CLIP

Comment on this clip:

you're going to get somebody hurt. telling people wich way to go breaks concentration and separates them from thier own assessment of conditions. people can only learn from within and experience ,the worst thing you can do when riding a bike is actually to think about what you are doing. Progression is achieved by small incremental steps . You're methods bore no relation to the reality of motoorcycling. YOU JUST LIKE TELLING PEOPLE WHAT TO DO.

It's good that you seem to like telling people what to do because that is why they employ you (presumably?)!

As Nikos says, they sign up to a method of instruction, and you do your best to get as much across in the time.

Barry Nedderman is not alone in his view of motorcycling, and not alone in his view of how to learn. But to think that people can only learn from experience and within is rubbish, and a few million people involved in Education would no doubt have a few things to say.

As with other potentially dangerous pursuits such as motorcycling, diving and parachuting, experience is a great way to learn - if you live long enough. In my opinion you don't learn a lot when you are dead.
